For some reason Yuan Jiankong's smile irks me and Fang Han you are right! He is unfriendly! he becomes another antagonist when he fights over the spoils from defeating the Pink Crown Prince
And wow they did change the story, Prince Bao was killed?!? Was looking forward to him being poisoned and had all his belongings stolen lol

That senior is out for his head and since he's obviously too important a character, I don't see them losing this upcoming battle. Which means...Fang Han better think of a clever explanation for how he absorbed the Lingfeng Sword..

The donghua made some changes, so the following might also be changed, in the novel:

The fight becomes intense and then they all start to bring out their treasure swords
The Pink crown prince then summons poisonous spirits which affected everyone except Fang Han, the Yellow Springs Diagram absorbed the poisonous spirits and imprisoned them
Fang Han is apparently immune to this poison because he had taken the Nine Aperture Golden Elixir
Hongyi was affected by the poison, and Fang Han cut a small part of his wrist and allowed her to drink a drop of his blood
Yuan Jiankong was holding onto dear life, he was wearing an artifact clothing which allowed him to resist the poison a little and then he runs away, leaving the group to fend for themselves
Sister Mo was the only one left standing (apart from Fang Han) and the Pink prince slowly walks towards her saying he will take her away and let her heal and then enjoy some pleasure later
Then with desperation Sister Mo, spits out a Water and Fire bead which explodes onto the Pink prince
Fang Han then takes advantage of the momentary distraction and slashes at the Pink crown prince's neck
With the Pink crown prince severely injured there is an intense battle between Fang Han and him
Hongyi suddenly joins the battle, having been healed by Fang Han's drop of blood, and the two manages to subdue the Pink crown prince after an intense fight
With the Pink crown prince dead, Fang Han manages to goes and collects all the treasure swords left behind, the Red Desire Sword that was from Pink crown prince, Silver Snake Sword from Yuan Jiankong, True Blue Sword from Sister Mo, and four other swords, there were five other disciples but one of them lost his sword to Fang Han already
Hongyi decides to pick the True Blue Sword, which she felt was suitable for her, and tells Fang Han not to reveal or use the sword yet, otherwise they might be forced to return them
The pink artifact clothes (pink.... doesnt suit him)called the Blood Cotton Demon clothing was then taken by Fang Han (it really doesnt suit you....)
The seven swords are actually worth seven cities

This is almost a lose - lose situation for our MC. If they win he will be hard press by that snake like senior and if they lost he will be at the mercy of that pinky character. Anyway next episode than the story will unravel.

I'd say this was a decent episode, but it wasn't exciting like "BTTH: San Nian Zhi Yue" the most recent ONA season of the 3 year agreement fight (which was damn near a MASTERPIECE, OMFG I loved that shii, it was phenomenal & magnificently divine!!).

For some reason I was kind bored, until the seniors started to show their true colors and even attacking Han like Senior Jiankong smh. He was bold but also subtle to pull that BS, thankfully for the Pink Prince's intervention (even though it was far from his intention lol). Jiankong is one of those snake characters who smile while stabbing you to death, smiles in your face but hates you, hiding his true intentions behind a fake smile like Kochou Shinobu from Demon Slayer. I can't wait to see how it turns out after the Pink Prince event/situation, that's IF they survive and able to get revenge on Han, who'll probably no doubt tell Qingxue. Starting BS with her future lover will be bad for him and the rest once she hears of it and creates another event like when they arrived at the sect slaughtering the punks disciples and cranes lol (even though the rest didn't really do anything but she didn't give AF aha).

Pink is interesting, and strong enough to have Jiankong on defense. I wonder what'll happen, I personally think either...

1. Han will somehow end up in the Pink Prince's hands somehow (rather friendly or foe) it could even save his life from Jiankong and his minions.
2. Han gets separated from the group somehow (maybe Hongyi goes with him) or even escapes Pink & Jiankong during their skirmish.
3. Han tries to help fight off Pink (getting Pink's attention before leaving) and Jiankong shelves his beef with Han because of injuries or some other reason, for now.
4. Jiankong fights off Pink and then resumes pressing Han about the sword issue.
5. Jiankong gets killed 😈 leaving the others unable to resume their issue (though I doubt Jiankong's evil a$$ dies that easily or quickly in this season smh).
6. Han just gets lucky again aha.

You should compare apple to apple, Yong Sheng is only in its 1st season, which actually far exceed BTTH 1st season

I don't agree with your first paragraph because you are comparing this Yong Sheng season, which is almost like an origin story where the main protagonist can be compared to a child when you look at his cultivation, against the culmination of 4 seasons of story that took nearly 5 years to set up.

I hope this show gets renewed because right now, MAL says it will have 12 episodes in total.

Although it doesnt seem that the studio has anything for Yong Sheng lined up in the near future (it's got other IP in development) on the official bilibili streaming site, the rating is 8.5 out of 10, the total number of views (for the series so far) is 60.532 million views, and number of followers for the series is 1.835 million
